This vintage is known for its deep ruby color, voluptuous nose of cassis, plums, violets, crushed rock, and cough syrup, and a palate with soft plums, cassis, cherries, great minerality, and firm underpinnings from fine-grained tannins. It has a nice long finish of sour cherries and berries with burnt toast notes.
