Faiveley, Gevrey Chambertin 1er Cru Lavaux Saint Jacques, 2014
The 2014 Faiveley Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Lavaux Saint-Jacques is a masterclass in elegance from one of Burgundy's most prestigious terroirs. Acquired by the historic Faiveley estate in 2013, this parcel benefits from a unique microclimate that balances power with a refined, silky texture. On the nose, expect a complex bouquet of red and black cherries, violets, and subtle earthy undertones. The palate is structured yet approachable, offering a beautiful concentration of fruit balanced by a refreshing mineral backbone. 【 Top-tier Gevrey-Chambertin Premier Cru 】
Pair this with roasted game, such as duck or pigeon, or a classic beef bourguignon. For a vegetarian option, mushroom-based dishes or a matured Epoisses cheese work beautifully.
This is an excellent choice for an intimate dinner party or a sophisticated celebration where you want to showcase the finesse of a classic Burgundy vintage.
