FEATURES
The 2019 vintage for Domaine Jacques Prieur's Volnay 1er Cru was marked by challenging weather conditions, including spring frost, staggered blooming, high temperatures during fruit set, and summer drought, which ultimately led to lower yields. Despite these hurdles, the grapes were healthy, offering a superb balance between sugars and acidity, and achieving complete ripeness. Harvest commenced earlier than initially planned, on September 9th. Domaine Jacques Prieur is celebrated as a prestigious estate in Burgundy, renowned for its exceptional vineyard holdings and a steadfast commitment to sustainable viticulture since 1997 and biodynamic practices since 2009.
