Pierre Girardin, Hauts Beaumonts Vosne Romanee, 2020
The 2020 Pierre Girardin Vosne-Romanée Les Hauts Beaumonts is described as bigger than the Vosne AC, with a good level of richness and classic Vosne styling. It often features bright red cherry notes, spiced on the nose, and a good weight for its level. Some tasters note a pretty floral bouquet, dark red fruit, and earthy undertones, with a structurally light but firm tannic presence. 【Impressive richness and Vosne styling】. Pierre Girardin, a young and emerging winemaker, has quickly made a stir in the Côte de Beaune, known for his well-appointed winery and an impressive portfolio.
🍴 Food Pairing: This red Burgundy pairs beautifully with beef, veal, poultry, and game meats like venison. Consider dishes such as pan-seared duck breast, roasted lamb with herbs, or a delicate mushroom tart. For an Eastern touch, it would complement a Cantonese-style roasted goose or a light soy-braised chicken.
🥂 Event Suggestions: An excellent choice for a celebratory dinner, a gathering with close friends, or a thoughtful gift for a Burgundy lover. Its elegance also makes it suitable for a romantic evening.
