The 2022 Les Horées Beaune Les Prévolles is a highly anticipated red Burgundy from a dynamic husband-and-wife duo known for their minimal intervention, biodynamic winemaking approach. This wine has garnered critical acclaim, with Robert Parker awarding it 91 points and Jasper Morris 90 points. It presents a bright ruby red color with the depth characteristic of great Pinot Noirs, reflecting beautiful concentration and vibrant intensity. The aromatic bouquet is a delight, revealing notes of red berries like cherry and raspberry, enhanced by floral hints of peony and subtle spicy nuances, with a touch of vanilla adding complexity. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, offering a fleshy and sensual texture with an attractive crunchiness to the fruit.
For food pairings, this versatile Beaune can be enjoyed with a foie gras terrine with figs or roasted pigeon with mild spices. It also pairs beautifully with coq au vin, creamy brie cheese with fresh baguette and figs, or a variety of roast and braised dishes, as well as certain seafood and fish preparations.
This wine is perfect for a celebratory dinner, a gathering with friends who appreciate biodynamic and terroir-driven wines, or as a thoughtful gift. It can be enjoyed now for its vibrant fruit or cellared for a few years to develop further complexity. 【Critically acclaimed (RP 91, JM 90) with vibrant intensity and complex aromatics】
