FEATURES
The Domaine de Vaccelli Granit 174 Rouge 2022 is an exceptionally rare micro-cuvée from Corsica, crafted from 100% Sciaccarellu grapes grown on a tiny 0.174-hectare granite plot, which gives the wine its name. The vineyard has been managed using certified organic farming methods since 2019, with the wine aged in egg and demi-muid barrels. This vintage is part of a release that continues to cement Domaine de Vaccelli's name in Corsican royalty.

Tasting notes reveal a deep nose with black cherry, blackberry, sweet spices, and a hint of leather. The palate offers great finesse, silky tannins, and an endless length, making it a craft of gastronomy. Earlier vintages also show aromas of dried herbs, strawberry, red cherry, hay, smoke, tomato, stone, spices, rose, and white pepper, with a dry, high acidity, full-bodied profile, and soft tannins, indicating huge aging potential.
Food pairing suggestions: This elegant red pairs beautifully with Mediterranean dishes and game. It's also an excellent match for veal, venison, rich fish like salmon or tuna, lean fish, and mild, soft cheeses.
Event suggestions: Perfect for a special dinner celebrating Corsican terroir, or for cellaring to enjoy its evolution over the next 10-15 years.
