White
750ml
Label : Very Slightly Damaged Label

The 2017 Jean Chartron Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Clos de la Pucelle is a testament to the estate's resurgence, with critics hailing the 2017 vintage as "tremendous" and solidifying Chartron's position as a top contender in Burgundy. This historic estate, established in 1859, boasts a unique portfolio of vineyards, including the esteemed Premier Cru 'Clos de la Pucelle'.
On the nose, expect an exotic medley of cantaloupe melon, honeysuckle, mint, and white flowers. The palate is fresh, creamy, and rich, delivering delicate lemon, ripe pear, and peach notes, all underpinned by excellent acidity and a focused structure. There's a beautiful tension with hints of nashi pear, minerality, lindenblossom, and candied ginger, leading to a super long finish. 【One of Burgundy's top Premier Cru white wines from a historic estate with unique 'clos' vineyards.】
🍴 This elegant white Burgundy pairs beautifully with shellfish, pasta dishes, rich fish like salmon or tuna, mild and soft cheeses, and cured meats.
🥂 This superb Puligny is already showing beautifully, making it an excellent choice for a refined dinner or a special celebration. While enjoyable now, its structure suggests it will continue to evolve gracefully with a few more years in the cellar.
