FEATURES
The 2015 Jean-François Ganevat Côtes du Jura Antide Savagnin is a luxurious and voluminous white wine, named after Ganevat's younger son. This cuvée is crafted primarily from Savagnin Jaune (80%), a special strain of the grape, sourced from three different vineyards with vines averaging 45 years of age. The wine underwent 30 months of aging in old barrels, followed by stainless steel tanks, and was bottled without sulfur since 2006, reflecting Ganevat's minimal interventionist philosophy. It presents a dark yellow color and an expressive, complex aroma filled with notes of hazelnuts, lemon pulp, almond milk, white fruits, plums, nutmeg, and smoke. On the palate, it is voluminous, round, perfectly balanced, with sparkling acidity and a dynamic finish. The 2015 vintage, being the first for this wine, shows some toasty notes, hints of almonds, and a touch of bitterness, offering an opulent and full-bodied experience with a citrus character. Decantation for at least 2 hours is recommended to allow its full potential to unfold.
【Renowned minimal interventionist producer】. This wine is a masterpiece, still primary and extremely vibrant, with a long life ahead.
