Francois Raveneau, Chablis Les Clos Grand Cru, 2005
🏰 The 2005 Francois Raveneau Chablis Les Clos Grand Cru is a highly sought-after white Burgundy, renowned for its 【intense minerality, purity, and exceptional aging potential】. Raveneau is a legendary producer in Chablis, and Les Clos is one of its most prestigious Grand Cru vineyards. The 2005 vintage in Chablis was generally excellent, producing wines with both richness and vibrant acidity. Expect a complex bouquet of citrus, green apple, wet stone, and a hint of oyster shell, evolving with age to reveal notes of honey and toasted nuts. The palate is powerful, precise, and incredibly long, with a saline finish.
🍴 This magnificent Chablis is a sublime pairing for fresh oysters, grilled sea bass, pan-seared scallops, or rich seafood pasta. It also complements roasted chicken with lemon and herbs, or goat cheese.
🥂 An ideal wine for a connoisseur's tasting, a celebratory seafood feast, or a special gift for a Burgundy lover. This Grand Cru Chablis is drinking beautifully now, showcasing its mature complexity, but still has the structure to age gracefully for many more years. Serve chilled, but not overly so, to allow its intricate aromas to unfold.
