FEATURES
The Perrier-Jouët Belle Époque Rosé 2014 is a truly fascinating cuvée, subtle and delicate yet warm and embracing, crafted only in exceptional years and produced in extremely limited quantities. The 2014 vintage experienced alternating weather patterns, with a wet winter, warm and dry spring, followed by a moist summer, but fine, hot September weather ultimately saved and concentrated the crop, allowing for the creation of this exquisite Champagne.
This Champagne presents a sparkling, luminous pale pink hue. On the nose, it offers a delicate floral character with aromas of spring flowers, ripe peach, citrus zest, and red berries like pomegranate, raspberry, and Gariguette strawberry, complemented by notes of blackcurrant, orange blossom, elderberry, cumin, and green pepper. The palate delivers a beautiful balance of crunchy fruits, a mineral note, and a light, caressing texture reminiscent of a soft, creamy lemon dessert.
Food pairing suggestions: This versatile rosé Champagne pairs wonderfully with white fish, mild cheeses, citrus desserts, salmon, tuna, lobster, or even dishes featuring red berries and light spices.
Event suggestions: Perfect for romantic dinners, elegant garden parties, celebratory brunches, or as a sophisticated aperitif to mark special occasions.
