Expect a toasted profile with overt brioche character, lemon-peel powder, and stone fruit. It's light-bodied with fine bubbles and a lean finish, complemented by buttery aromas. The clay-rich soils yield a Chardonnay that is distinctly Pinot-leaning in its amplitude and overall breadth. Tasting notes also reveal minerals, chalk, honey, apple, pear, apricot, almond, toast, citrus, lime, lemon, butter, oak, vanilla, cream, yeast, and savory spices. It offers a hedonistic nose of ginger, mushroom, and chalk minerals, with great precision and depth on the palate, leading to seamless, fluid, ripe-chardonnay flavours and layers of savory baked biscuits.
This potent Champagne is very much built for the dinner table, making it an excellent choice for gastronomic experiences.
