Vie di Romans is a benchmark estate in the Friuli Isonzo appellation of northeastern Italy, led by the meticulous Gianfranco Gallo. The estate is famous for producing rich, age-worthy white wines. 'Vieris' is their single-vineyard Sauvignon Blanc. Unlike typical crisp and grassy styles, this wine is barrel-fermented and aged on its lees, resulting in a complex, full-bodied wine with intense aromas of ripe tropical fruit, sage, and a creamy texture.
