FEATURES
Minière F&R Influence Brut is the flagship cuvée of this small, family-run grower estate in Hermonville, Champagne. The brothers Frédéric and Rodolphe Minière farm organically, crafting Champagne that truly expresses its chalky, cool terroir. This non-vintage (NV) Brut is a blend, often featuring Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay, with a significant portion of reserve wines, and undergoes barrel aging for 8 months on lees, followed by extended cellar aging for 3 years. 【A masterclass in restraint and precision, showcasing chalky terroir.】
Tasting Notes: The appearance is a bright robe with deep golden highlights and fine, elegant bubbles, indicating beautiful maturity and well-controlled aging. The nose is powerful and complex, with assertive minerality, fresh citrus aromas, and chocolatey nuances, offering depth and originality. Some describe notes of toasted almond croissant, raspberry coulis, and tangerine. On the palate, it has a frank and direct attack with a beautiful structure. Expect yellow fruits, a citrus-driven finish with toasted, woody notes, and a well-balanced tension with great complexity. It is full-bodied and concentrated, with a rich core of fruit framed by tangy acidity, leading to a long, persistent, and elegant finish. Other notes include ripe apple, pear, subtle red fruit layered with brioche, toasted almond, and a touch of spice. The palate is round and vinous with fine mousse, good depth, and a clean, chalk-tinged finish.
Food Pairing Suggestions: This expressive and food-friendly Champagne pairs well with rich shellfish, roasted poultry, pâté, grilled fish, aged cheeses, and charcuterie. It's also an excellent match for pork, seafood, sushi, and mild and soft cheeses.
Event Suggestions: Minière F&R Influence Brut is perfect for celebrations, aperitifs, or as a versatile companion to a wide range of culinary experiences. Its character and value make it suitable for both casual gatherings and more formal events.
