wine serving
What are the ideal serving conditions and drink window for this wine? Should I use a special opener?
This red Burgundy is best served at 16-18°C. For a 2011 vintage, it is entering its prime drinking window but still has excellent aging potential for another 10-20 years. Decanting is recommended for Grand Cru Pinot Noir, especially if still young or to remove potential sediment in older bottles. As this wine is not yet 20 years old, a standard corkscrew should suffice. For older vintages, we recommend using a Durand, Ah-So, or Sovy Vintage Wine Opener to protect the cork.

asian food pairing / wine style
What is the style of this wine and what Asian dishes would pair well with it?
This Dujac Romanée-Saint-Vivant Grand Cru offers an exquisite, ethereal, and complex profile with notes of red berries, spice, and forest floor, supported by silky tannins. It pairs beautifully with fine dining, delicate meats, and truffle-based dishes. For Asian cuisine, consider high-end Cantonese cuisine, delicate roasted meats, or mushroom-based dishes.
