FEATURES
Mas Cal Demoura is a leading light in the Terrasses du Larzac appellation, recognized as one of France's most dynamic wine regions. Under the passionate stewardship of Isabelle and Vincent Goumard since 2003, the estate is committed to organic viticulture (certified since 2010), employing meticulous practices like ploughing and low yields to cultivate healthy vines. Their wines, including Les Combariolles, are celebrated for their fruit, depth, finesse, and dynamism. Les Combariolles is a single-vineyard cuvée, benefiting from 18 months of aging in demi-muids and foudre, contributing to its magnificent sap and elegant substance.
The 2015 Les Combariolles is a deep and classy red wine, exuding magnificent sap and elegant substance. It offers a rich tapestry of ripe, luxurious black cherries and raspberries, beautifully complemented by tinges of anise and garrigue, all underpinned by bright acidity and freshness. The nose is inviting, with notes of peppercorns, berries, chocolate, and orange zest. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied with sturdy yet ripe tannins, delivering a juicy, lively, and agile profile. Expect layers of black fruit, plum, dark cherry, licorice, pepper, prune, earthy, leather, and truffle notes. It boasts plenty of energy and a textural, focused finish. 【A deep and classy wine from a dynamic appellation, characterized by fruit, depth, finesse, and dynamism, rooted in meticulous organic viticulture.】
