FEATURES
Petite Nature, under the guidance of Pauline Maziou, is dedicated to a "zero-zero" winemaking philosophy, meaning spontaneous fermentations, no filtration, and nothing added to the wine at any stage. The vineyards are meticulously hand-plowed without chemicals, yielding low quantities of hand-harvested grapes. This approach results in wines of remarkable purity and elegance, often displaying a perfumed quality reminiscent of the Northern Rhône, with a mineral imprint and tension from decomposed granite soils, alongside a plush concentration of fruit and a soft-edged texture. The Petite Nature Sorcières 2022 is described as a polished red wine, offering notes of blackberry, plum, red cherry, dried herbs, pepper, and warm spice. It is medium to full-bodied, with ripe tannins, fresh acidity, and a long finish. Expect a juicy and fresh profile with hints of cherry, raspberry, and anise. On the palate, it is vibrant, fresh, and complex, revealing cherry, black currant, olive, fennel, citrus peel, and black pepper.
