🏰Marcel Deiss is renowned for its unique, terroir-driven approach in Alsace, and the Mambourg Grand Cru Riesling embodies this philosophy, showcasing the exceptional potential of this esteemed vineyard. The 2020 vintage, while specific reports are limited, is generally expected to yield wines of excellent concentration and purity in Alsace.
【This Grand Cru Riesling offers a powerful and complex aromatic profile, bursting with ripe citrus notes of lemon and grapefruit, intertwined with luscious stone fruit like peach and apricot, all underscored by a profound, flinty minerality.】 Expect a rich texture and a long, dry finish, promising remarkable aging potential where honeyed nuances will beautifully emerge.
🍴 Its vibrant acidity and aromatic complexity make it incredibly versatile, pairing exquisitely with rich fish dishes, roasted pork, or even spicy Asian cuisine like Thai curries or Vietnamese pho. It's also a superb match for traditional Alsatian fare such as choucroute or foie gras.
🥂 An impressive white wine for a gourmet dinner, a sophisticated tasting, or a special gathering where a complex and age-worthy Riesling will be truly appreciated. It's a wine that speaks of its grand cru origins and the meticulous care of its maker.
