FEATURES
The 2021 Champagne Insu 1er Cru Hautvillers Les Hautes Maladries Brut Nature is a remarkable Blanc de Noirs, representing the inaugural vintage from Pierre-Gabriel Diarra. Hailing from the historic Hautvillers Premier Cru in Champagne, this wine is crafted entirely from 100% Pinot Noir grapes, meticulously grown in old plots on clayey silt over chalk soils. The 2021 vintage was notably cold, resulting in smaller grapes, limited quantities, and intensely concentrated flavours. Pierre-Gabriel is dedicated to organic farming (Ecocert certified) and a non-interventionist approach, with spontaneous fermentation, no filtration or fining, and zero dosage, allowing the unique terroir to shine through. 【A rare, zero-dosage Blanc de Noirs from Hautvillers Premier Cru, crafted by Pierre-Gabriel Diarra from old Pinot Noir vines, showcasing intense flavors and a vibrant, saline finish from the challenging 2021 vintage.】
On the nose, this Champagne immediately releases lovely fruity and pastry aromas, with notes of baked apple, butter, almond, and vanilla. With aeration, more tart and candied nuances emerge, particularly stewed rhubarb. The palate offers a very fresh, almost striking attack, revealing clear aromas of lemon and grapefruit, alongside a strong minerality and a zesty, iodine touch. It remains delicate and fresh, culminating in an incredibly long, tangy, and vibrant saline finish.
🍴 This exceptional Brut Nature is perfect as an aperitif or paired with refined seafood dishes such as smoked salmon seasoned with pepper or coriander, lobster, hot oysters, or caviar.
🥂 Ideal for celebratory occasions, sophisticated gatherings, or as a luxurious start to a memorable meal, this Champagne embodies authenticity and singularity.
