FEATURES
🏰The 2015 Château Beau-Séjour Bécot is a sensational powerhouse of a Saint-Émilion, widely regarded as one of the finest vintages ever produced by the estate. This Premier Grand Cru Classé B benefited from a hot, dry summer with drought conditions, resulting in a rich, opulent wine with serious tannins for aging. It has received exceptional critical acclaim, with 96 points from Wine Enthusiast, 95 points from James Suckling, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, and Wine Spectator, and 94 points from Decanter.
【Experience a very perfumed bouquet with crushed berries and blackberries, wet earth, and great intensity, leading to a full-bodied, layered, and very velvety palate】. Notes of blackberries, black cherries, crushed black plums, spice box, lavender, and cedar unfold. The wine is decadent, with a firm backbone, silky tannins, vibrant freshness, and remarkable precision, culminating in an extremely long and intense finish. This wine is best from 2025 onwards and has a drinking window extending to 2035-2045.
🍴 This powerful and opulent Saint-Émilion is a perfect match for classic meat dishes. Think beef tenderloin, roast lamb, duck breast, venison, or truffle dishes. It also pairs beautifully with aged Comté cheese or wild mushroom risotto. For an Asian-inspired pairing, consider a rich Cantonese roast goose or a deeply flavored Korean bulgogi.
🥂 Ideal for a grand celebration, a sophisticated dinner party, or a special occasion where a truly exceptional Bordeaux is desired. Given its youth and structure, it's recommended to decant the 2015 Beau-Séjour Bécot for 2-3 hours to allow it to soften and open its perfume. Serve at 15.5-16°C (60-61°F).
