Domaine Gauby is a benchmark producer in Roussillon, credited with transforming the region's perception in the wine world. The estate, now overseen by Lionel Gauby, converted to organic farming in 1996 and practices biodynamic methods, agroforestry, and mixed farming. The "Old Vines" cuvée is predominantly Syrah, complemented by old Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon vines.
This red wine offers notes of wild blackberry, spice, and liquorice. It presents a fleshy yet structured palate with fine chalky tannins, showcasing depth, charm, and excellent potential for aging.
