FEATURES
The 2006 Louis Carillon Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru, a Chardonnay from 布根地, showcases a more serious and less approachable side of the 2006 vintage, with notably high acidity for the year. This wine is often lauded as the finest in the Carillon range. The nose offers a subtle array of spice, honeysuckle, apricot, white peach, citrus, rich stony minerality, honey, salty saline wet stones, lanolin, yellow flowers, walnut oil, custard cream, minerals, truffle, hazelnut, vanilla, clove, and menthol. On the palate, it is pure, exceptionally fresh, and racy, brimming with energy. Flavors of golden apples, ripe peaches, apricot, honey, rich wet stones minerality, tangerine, peach, and lemon fruit are prominent. It is well-balanced, with good length, excellent cut and precision, terrific energy, a chewy and suave finish, and lingering spice. While it can present as opulent, big, and rounded, with a heavier texture and oiliness, it remains concentrated, with its acidity providing a tightening effect. 【Always the best wine in the Carillon range】
