🏰 The 2023 vintage for Benoit Ente's Bourgogne Chardonnay is celebrated for its remarkable freshness and definition, stemming from moderate temperatures and even ripening in Burgundy. This wine is lauded as a pure and vibrant expression of Burgundian Chardonnay, showcasing the innate elegance of its terroir, with vineyards predominantly located in Puligny-Montrachet. It's considered a masterclass in elegance and precision.
Expect delightful aromas of white flowers, fresh lemon, and almond, alongside green apple, lemon zest, and acacia blossom. The palate is finely textured, balanced by precise mineral tension and vibrant energy, revealing flavors of white peach, orange, citrus, and wet stone minerality. A subtle creaminess is beautifully supported by bracing acidity and a distinct mineral spine.
【Masterclass in elegance and precision, reflecting Puligny character】
🍴 This versatile Chardonnay pairs wonderfully with delicate shellfish, roasted poultry, or young Comté cheese. It's also an excellent match for pasta, rich fish like salmon or tuna, and mild, soft cheeses.
🥂 Accessible in its youth yet capable of aging gracefully, this wine is perfect for a sophisticated dinner party, a casual gathering with friends, or any occasion where a high-quality, expressive white Burgundy is desired.
