🏰 The 2022 Burgundy vintage is proving to be excellent, delivering generous, charming, and vital wines with real depth and ripeness. It was a successful harvest, helping to replenish cellars after several years of lower yields. Despite challenges such as frost, heat, and drought, the damage was less severe than in previous years due to better timing of weather events. A hot and dry summer produced supple whites and silky, red-fruit Pinot Noir. The harvest was early, and both red and white wines from this vintage exhibit significant depth and ripeness, along with enormous charm and vitality. The reds are predominantly red-fruited, with expressive floral notes and ripe tannins, achieving a balance between warm-season fruit and the freshness and moderate alcohol typically found in cooler years. 【 2022 Burgundy: An excellent vintage delivering charming, vital, and deep red wines 】
