Pierre Girardin, Griotte Chambertin Grand Cru, 2019
🏰 The 2019 vintage in Burgundy was marked by complex weather patterns, including a mild winter, dry spring, and summer heatwaves, yet it ultimately delivered wines of outstanding quality. Despite smaller berry sizes and lower yields, the grapes achieved excellent ripeness with surprising levels of acidity, leading to concentrated and balanced wines. For Pierre Girardin's Griotte Chambertin Grand Cru, expect a wine with intense color, rich fruit flavors, and a promising tannic structure that suggests good aging potential. 【An outstanding vintage with concentrated fruit and excellent balance】.
🍴 This powerful Griotte Chambertin would pair beautifully with roasted game birds like pheasant or partridge, beef Wellington, or a rich coq au vin. For an Eastern culinary experience, consider a slow-cooked red-braised pork belly or a delicate stir-fried venison with mushrooms.
🥂 Ideal for a celebratory dinner, a serious wine tasting, or as a centerpiece for a special gathering of connoisseurs.
