🏰【From the legendary Coche-Dury】, this Auxey-Duresses 1997 is a testament to the domaine's ability to craft exceptional wines even from lesser-known appellations. While specific vintage notes for this particular wine are not widely available, Coche-Dury's Auxey-Duresses Blanc is celebrated for its incredible precision, minerality, and capacity to age. The 1997 Burgundy vintage was generally considered good, producing charming and approachable wines. Expect a mature white Burgundy with notes of toasted nuts, honey, white flowers, and a distinct stony minerality, with a vibrant acidity that keeps it fresh.
🍴 This elegant white Burgundy pairs beautifully with roasted chicken, pan-fried sole, creamy risottos, or goat cheese. Its complexity also makes it a delightful match for truffle dishes.
🥂 An excellent choice for a connoisseur's dinner, a special anniversary, or a tasting focused on the brilliance of Coche-Dury.
