🏰The 2022 Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey Chassagne Montrachet Vieilles Vignes is a highly anticipated white Burgundy, renowned for its 【precision, minerality, and exceptional expression of old vine Chardonnay】. This vintage is expected to showcase a brilliant pale gold color. On the nose, anticipate vibrant aromas of citrus, green apple, and white flowers, complemented by subtle notes of toasted nuts, wet stone, and a hint of butter from careful oak aging. The palate should be crisp and focused, with a rich texture, intense mineral drive, and a long, saline finish that is characteristic of Chassagne Montrachet from old vines. The 2022 vintage in Burgundy is generally considered promising for white wines, offering both ripeness and freshness.
🍴 This elegant white Burgundy is a superb partner for a variety of dishes. Classic pairings include roasted chicken with herbs, pan-seared scallops, grilled sole, or rich seafood pasta. It also excels with creamy risottos, goat cheese, or mature Comté.
🥂 An excellent choice for a celebratory lunch, a sophisticated seafood dinner, or a special gathering where a top-tier white Burgundy will be appreciated for its complexity and finesse.
