FEATURES
🏰 Domaine Fourrier owns one third of a hectare in "Les Petits Vougeot," a premier cru wedged between the prestigious Clos de Vougeot and Musigny, making this a spectacular wine from a prime location. The 2019 vintage is considered spectacular, offering a lush dark fruit character and complexity from mineral notes. The "Les Petits Vougeot" has maintained its balance exceptionally well in this vintage. It presents a perfect fresh mid-purple color. The nose wafts with notes of 【raspberries, violets, rose petals, spices, and plums, showcasing heady ripe fruit with black cherry mixed with fresher red fruit notes, a little fresh peach, and mandarin peel】. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied, bright, and vibrant, with a lively core of fruit, beautifully refined tannins, and a perfumed, mouthwateringly saline finish. It is tightly wound and very long, offering a deep, complex, and tangy profile with moderate tannins, lovely focus, very good grip, and a long, classy finish. Expect more evident minerality on the wonderfully complex and lingering finish, with a finer and more sophisticated mid-palate supported by firmer tannins.
🍴 Ideal with roasted chicken, duck, game birds, mushroom dishes, or coq au vin.
🥂 Perfect for a fine dining experience, a special gathering, or a moment to appreciate a top-tier 布根地 Pinot Noir.
