🏰 The 2017 Coche-Dury Bourgogne Rouge is a stellar example from a generally very good vintage for Burgundy. Critics have lauded the 2017 red wines from the domaine as exceptional. This wine offers a lovely bouquet of red and black cherries, intertwined with notes of woodsmoke, a hint of gamebird, dark soil tones, and a touch of smokiness. On the palate, it is full-bodied, focused, and boasts a beautiful core with good soil signature, subtle tannins, and a long, vibrant finish. Expect a super-fresh nose with red currant, earth, and black cherry, leading to delicious, caressing, and voluminous flavors with good depth and persistence. 【 Stellar quality for a Bourgogne Rouge 】
🍴 This superb Bourgogne Rouge pairs wonderfully with rich, savory dishes. It has been enjoyed with Japanese A5 Wagyu steak, and would also be excellent with roasted chicken or turkey. Its depth and structure can also complement other fine poultry dishes or mild game.
🥂 An ideal choice for special occasions, a celebratory meal, or simply when you desire to indulge in a remarkably high-quality Burgundy that punches well above its appellation.
