Meo Camuzet, Vosne Romanee Aux Brulees 1er Cru, 2024
🏰Domaine Meo-Camuzet is a legendary Burgundy producer, and their Vosne-Romanee Aux Brulees 1er Cru is one of their most celebrated wines, often considered among their finest. The 2024 vintage is a 【highly anticipated future vintage from Domaine Meo-Camuzet's esteemed Vosne-Romanee Aux Brulees 1er Cru vineyard, known for producing powerful, aristocratic Pinot Noir with exquisite complexity and aging potential】. While the 2024 vintage is still in the future, this vineyard consistently yields Pinot Noir that is powerful, aristocratic, and deeply expressive of its terroir. Aux Brulees is known for its generous character, combining red and dark fruits with a lovely collection of Vosne spices. Based on recent excellent vintages like 2019, expect a brilliant wine bursting with notes of cherries, plums, raw cocoa, exotic spices, blood orange, and espresso roast. It typically presents a full-bodied, layered, and perfumed profile with satiny attack, deep concentration, velvety tannins, succulent acids, and a long, perfumed, and youthfully chalky finish. The bouquet is often very spicy with floral complexity.
🍴 This exquisite Pinot Noir would be an ideal match for classic Burgundian dishes such as coq au vin, beef bourguignon, roasted duck breast, or fine game birds.
🥂 A highly anticipated release for collectors and connoisseurs, perfect for cellaring and enjoying at a future milestone celebration or a serious Burgundy tasting.
BACKGROUND
Domaine Meo-Camuzet is located in the village of Vosne-Romanee, France. The estate employs organic fertilizers and advanced cultivation techniques to maintain ecological balance in the vineyards. Coupled with the exceptional terroir and the legacy of Henri Jayer, Jean-Nicholas' efforts have elevated the estate to a top-tier winery in just a few decades. In 2003, Jean-Nicholas founded the négociant business Méo-Camuzet Frères et Soeurs. Although the grapes are purchased, the team personally supervises the vineyards to ensure the quality of the grape sources.
