🏰 The 2009 Louis Latour Vosne Romanee is an 【excellent expression of 布根地 Pinot Noir, known for its pure transparent pomegranate red color and delightful aromatic complexity】. This vintage offers gentle floral notes with red cherry complementing warm earth smells. It is medium-bodied with clean Burgundy mineral notes, mouth-watering acidity, persistently light tannin, and predominately strawberry and pomegranate fruit with hints of cola, leading to a long, lively finish with a climax of mouth-tingling white pepper. The 2009 vintage for Vosne-Romanee is noted for its lively perfumes and great fruity characters, needing bottle aging to fully realize its potential.
🍴 This Vosne-Romanee pairs beautifully with poultry, red meats, white meats, and game such as venison. Specific suggestions include Asian-style beef with onions, barbecued beef skewers, grilled beef ribs, duck breasts, lamb chops, and veal chops. It also excels with beef bourguignon, beef daube, and beef fillet. For a more adventurous pairing, consider foie gras poêlé or intensely-flavored cheeses like Epoisses.
🥂 Perfect for a celebratory dinner, a sophisticated gathering, or a special meal featuring roasted meats or game. Its current drinking window suggests it's ready to be enjoyed, but it also has good aging potential. Serve at an ideal temperature of 15-17°C (59-63°F).
