Joseph Drouhin, Montrachet Marquis De Laguiche Grand Cru, 2018
🏰 The 2018 vintage in Burgundy produced rich and concentrated white wines, with good ripeness. This Joseph Drouhin Montrachet Marquis de Laguiche Grand Cru 2018, from the world's most celebrated white wine vineyard, is an 【iconic wine of immense power and complexity, showcasing layers of ripe stone fruit, honey, toasted nuts, and a profound, saline minerality, with a monumental structure built for decades of aging】.
🍴 Montrachet demands the most exquisite culinary pairings. Think roasted turbot with caviar, pan-seared foie gras, truffle-infused dishes, or the finest aged Comte. For an ultimate Chinese pairing, consider steamed imperial bird's nest or braised abalone with supreme sauce.
🥂 A truly legendary wine for the most momentous occasions, a cornerstone for any serious collector, or an unforgettable once-in-a-lifetime experience.
BACKGROUND
Joseph Drouhin is one of Burgundy's most important wine producers, France. The primary grape variety is Pinot Noir, with a small portion being Chardonnay. Founded in Beaune in 1880, the domaine has expanded throughout the 20th Century to include vineyards in Chablis, the Côte de Nuits, the Côte de Beaune and the Côte Chalonnaise, making everything from simple, village-level cuvées to highly priced grand cru and premier cru wines from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
