Roger Sabon is a family-owned estate in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, France, with a range based around four different red Châteauneuf cuvées. The estate has 16 hectares (39.5 acres) under vine in Châteauneuf-du-Pape of which 15 are planted to red varieties, including Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre. The Sabon family can trace their roots in the Southern Rhône valley all the way back to 1540, though the first vintage bottled by the estate in something like its modern form was 1921.
