🏰 The 2010 Vincent Dancer Meursault Perrieres 1er Cru is a 【highly-rated 布根地白酒 from a very good vintage】, renowned for its minerality and impressive aging potential. This Chardonnay, even after a decade, remains remarkably young and energetic, showcasing a steely character with dominant minerality. Expect a complex bouquet of flint stone, pineapple, guava, and subtle nutty notes, leading to a rich yet taut palate with vibrant acidity and a lovely saline finish.
🍴 This exquisite Meursault is a fantastic match for rich fish dishes like pan-seared salmon or grilled tuna, roasted chicken or turkey, and mild, soft cheeses. For an Asian pairing, consider steamed garoupa with soy sauce or a delicate chicken and mushroom stir-fry.
🥂 This wine is still quite youthful and will greatly benefit from further cellaring, with an optimal drinking window extending beyond 2030. It's a superb choice for collectors, special celebrations, or for those who appreciate the profound evolution of aged white 布根地。Serve slightly chilled at 12-14°C (53-57°F).
BACKGROUND
Domaine Vincent Dancer is a small but highly regarded Burgundian producer based in Chassagne-Montrachet, in the Côte de Beaune, France. The primary grape variety is Chardonnay. Dancer began in 1996 with an annual production of 4000 bottles, sold mainly to négociants, and produced from family-owned vines that had previously been rented to relatives. Since 2003, this figure has increased to around 20,000 bottles. Since the portfolio includes over a dozen wines, only a few barrels made of each.
