Francois Raveneau, Chablis Les Clos Grand Cru, 2001
🏰 Francois Raveneau's Chablis Les Clos Grand Cru is revered for its unparalleled expression of Chablis' unique terroir, offering a profound and age-worthy white wine. The 2001 vintage, despite being a challenging year, produced wines of uncommon energy and remarkable purity. 【Expect a gorgeously complex nose of minerals, white flowers, fresh apple, spearmint, talc, ginger, and gun metal, leading to pure, muscular, fantastically detailed, and precise flavors just oozing with sappy extract.】
🍴 This powerful and elegant Chablis Grand Cru is an exquisite pairing for oysters, grilled sea bass, pan-seared scallops, or rich poultry dishes. Its mineral-driven profile also complements goat cheese or delicate sushi and sashimi.
🥂 An exceptional choice for a celebratory seafood feast, a serious Chablis vertical tasting, or a special occasion that calls for a white wine of immense character and longevity. Its regal classiness and incredible length make it a standout.
