🏰The 2014 Auguste Clape Cornas Renaissance is a 【classic expression of Clape's mastery】, offering an elegant, silky, and streamlined profile that will evolve gracefully. This entry-level cuvée bursts with aromatics of 【black raspberries, dark plum, smoked meats, pepper, black olive, and violets】, underpinned by a savory minerality. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied with beautiful fruit density, fine yet firm tannins, and a long, expansive finish, making it hard to resist even in its youth.
🍴 This robust Syrah is a fantastic partner for grilled lamb chops, slow-cooked beef short ribs, or game dishes like venison. Earthy mushroom preparations or strong, aged cheeses would also complement its character.
🥂 Perfect for a hearty dinner with friends, a special occasion that calls for a powerful red, or as a cellar addition to enjoy over the next 7-8 years.
