🏰 The Olivier Bernstein Charmes Chambertin Grand Cru 2012 is a beautifully textured and vibrant expression of 布根地, offering an exquisite bouquet of wild strawberry and forest floor, with a delicious and powerful palate that is both accessible now and capable of further development. The 2012 布根地 vintage, though marked by small yields, produced concentrated and expressive wines of exceptional quality. This Charmes Chambertin reveals a deep garnet color and an attractive nose of 【cassis, liquorice, and cocoa, leading to a powerful and earthy palate with enjoyable persistence】. Critics note its intensity and volume, with layers of blue/blackish fruit and a sense of freshness and vivacity.
🍴 This sophisticated red 布根地 is an excellent match for venison stew, roasted female deer with pepper and mashed celery, or duck breast with morels. It also pairs well with mature cheeses like Soumaintrain.
🥂 An ideal choice for a sophisticated dinner, a special celebration, or a thoughtful gift for a 布根地 collector, as it is showing beautifully now and has further aging potential.
BACKGROUND
Domaine Pierre Boisson/Anne Boisson is a family winery. The winery is run by father Bernard (retired in 2016), son Pierre and daughter Anne. Although it is the same winery, the wines produced by the three people will be labeled separately. on their respective names. They jointly own 8.5 hectares of land around the Cote de Beaune, and the vineyard's terroir is wet stone and flint, giving the grapes more minerality.
