The 2023 Burgundy vintage, including Domaine Dujac's Gevrey Chambertin Aux Combottes 1er Cru, is generating high expectations and is anticipated to be brilliant. The growing season began with a mild winter, followed by a spring that alternated between unseasonably warm and chilly conditions. The 'Les Combottes' vineyard is a Premier Cru lieu-dit situated south of Gevrey-Chambertin village, halfway up the hill with an east-facing slope. Its soil varies from reddish-brown with limestone fragments to fine angular limestone gravel, overlying an ocher-colored crinoidal limestone substratum.
Critics have already given promising scores, with Jasper Morris rating it 91-94/100 and Tim Atkin awarding 93/100. This Pinot Noir is characterized by a savory and classic red wine style.
🍴 Food Pairing: This Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru is an excellent match for rich game dishes. Consider pairing it with duck, goose, or other game birds.
🥂 Fit for Event: A highly anticipated and critically acclaimed wine, perfect for special dinners, celebrations, or as a valuable addition to any discerning wine collector's cellar. 【高分預期,布根地2023年份新星】。
