FEATURES
🏰 The 2021 Quilceda Creek Cabernet Sauvignon Columbia Valley is hailed as a monumental release and unquestionably one of the greatest vintages of this cuvée ever made. The growing season was one of the warmest on record, with a heat dome in late June, yet meticulous vine nutrition allowed for healthy vines. This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, primarily from Champoux and Mach One Vineyards, aged 20 months in 100% new French oak. It erupts with a classic Quilceda Creek expression: big, bold, and boisterous, with a fresh, juicy attack and gobs of succulent, ripe dark fruit tones complemented by oak essences. The palate is full-bodied, fresh, layered, and complex, showcasing balanced acidity and fine-grained tannins. Aromas include blackcurrants, smoked tobacco, toasted spices, graphite, crushed violets, licorice, and a beautiful varietal herbal undertone. The finish is elongated, suggesting it can be enjoyed now but will be generously rewarded with additional years in the cellar, evolving for two decades. Jeb Dunnuck awarded it 100 points, calling it deep, rich, full-bodied, and velvety textured. 【 Unquestionably one of the greatest vintages ever 】.
🍴 This powerful Cabernet Sauvignon demands equally robust food. Ideal pairings include grilled ribeye steak, roasted lamb with rosemary, venison, or rich beef stews. For Eastern cuisine, consider Korean BBQ short ribs, a hearty Chinese braised beef brisket, or a rich lamb curry.
🥂 Perfect for a celebratory dinner, a serious wine tasting, or as a centerpiece for a special occasion. It's a wine to impress and savor.
