🏰 The 2018 Jean Chartron Puligny Montrachet hails from a Burgundy vintage characterized by a heatwave year, with a mild winter, sunny spring, and a hot, dry summer. Despite the challenges, 2018 was an exceptionally abundant harvest for whites, with good growers producing bright Chardonnays that captured energetic freshness and alluring fruit. This Puligny Montrachet offers aromas of citrus enhanced by delicately toasted vanilla notes. On the palate, it is fresh and light, with good minerality and discreet woody notes, culminating in a long and charming finish. Puligny wines are celebrated for their 【 elegance and finesse, offering a unique expression of Chardonnay terroir 】.
🍴 This refined white Burgundy is an ideal partner for grilled fish, especially scallops in a cream sauce. It also complements various seafood dishes, creamy poultry preparations, and light, fluid dishes like fish couscous, pasta, or risotto with mushrooms. For cheese lovers, it pairs beautifully with Comté, Beaufort, and goat cheeses.
🥂 This wine is perfect for celebratory meals, fine dining experiences, or any occasion calling for a sophisticated and vibrant white Burgundy.
