La Mujer Cañón is an exceptional small-production Garnacha from a gorgeous plot planted in 1934, located at 900 meters altitude in the Cadalso area of Gredos, with a northern exposure and very poor weathered granite soil. The winemaking involves manual harvesting, whole cluster fermentation in 500-liter wooden vats with indigenous yeasts, and aging for 12 months in used French oak barrels.
