Pierre Girardin, Batard Montrachet Grand Cru, 2019
🏰 The 2019 Pierre Girardin Batard Montrachet Grand Cru comes from a vintage generally considered very good for white Burgundies, offering richness and concentration. Batard-Montrachet itself is renowned for its powerful and opulent character among the Grand Crus. Expect a rich, full-bodied wine with notes of ripe yellow fruit, honey, butter, and toasted nuts, underpinned by a strong mineral backbone. Its high acidity ensures a long and captivating finish. 【A powerful and prestigious Grand Cru white Burgundy, known for its richness and aging potential】
🍴 This magnificent white Burgundy demands equally grand food pairings. It excels with rich white fish like halibut or turbot, luxurious lobster and scallops, poultry in creamy sauces, or even foie gras. Strong, aged cheeses would also be a superb match.
🥂 This is a wine for significant celebrations and fine dining. Its complexity and richness make it perfect for a milestone anniversary, an exclusive dinner party, or a serious white Burgundy tasting where its profound character can be fully appreciated.
