FEATURES
🏰 The 2017 Méo Camuzet Clos Vougeot Pres Le Cellier Grand Cru originates from a 【Grand Cru vineyard historically cultivated by monks for nearly a thousand years, renowned for producing some of the world's finest and longest-lived Pinot Noir】. The 2017 vintage in Burgundy was exceptional in both quality and quantity, with a very warm spring contributing to promising and elegant wines. Notably, 2017 marked the first time since 2009 that Méo-Camuzet bottled the lieux-dits separately due to sufficient wine. This wine is characterized by richness, concentration, a velvety structure, broad aromatics, impressive length, and power. It is a plush, ripe, and substantially oaked wine (with 80% new wood), offering abundant red berry sweetness and a chalky undertone. It is described as charming, supple, beautifully defined by its site, and unusually approachable. Expect earthy tones, elegant notes of raspberry, strawberry, cherry, and some currant, complemented by nice acidity and a great lingering aftertaste. It can also be seductive with spice and flowers, without excessive oak. Aromas of matchstick, cherry, cranberry, game, and earth are also present.
🍴 This magnificent Grand Cru Burgundy is a perfect match for rich and flavorful dishes. It pairs splendidly with duck, goose, and various game birds.
🥂 An excellent choice for a significant celebration, a formal dinner, or a special gathering of wine connoisseurs, where its profound complexity and aging potential can be fully appreciated.
