🏰 The 2019 Michel Bouzereau Meursault Les Charmes Dessus 1er Cru hails from an 【outstanding white Burgundy vintage】, characterized by ample sunshine, leading to superb depth, richness, and lovely acidity despite reduced yields from spring frost. This wine offers notes of orange and citrus balanced by firm white fruit, with a rich, fat texture and hints of beeswax and spices. Expect a harmonious and energetic palate with a vibrant citrus/lime finish and a long, spicy aftertaste. It's currently at the beginning of its drinking window but shows great winemaking and balance.
🍴 This elegant Meursault pairs beautifully with textured seafood dishes like lobster thermidor, creamy chicken fricassée, or mushroom-based sauces. It's also a perfect match for nearly all fish dishes and white meats.
🥂 Ideal for any dinner party or a special meal, this wine can be enjoyed now but will continue to improve with cellar aging until 2030. Serve lightly chilled between 7-12°C.
