BACKGROUND
Domaine Tempier is the most iconic estate in the Bandol appellation of Provence, France. The Peyraud family has been instrumental in establishing the reputation of Bandol and its primary grape, Mourvedre. 'La Migoua' is one of their single-vineyard cuvees, characterized by a complex geological fault line that mixes various soils. This wine typically has a slightly lower percentage of Mourvedre compared to their other crus, resulting in a more approachable, aromatic, and wild expression, with notes of garrigue, dark berries, and earth.
