🏰 The 2012 Faiveley Corton Clos des Cortons Grand Cru is hailed as 【one of the finest vintages of the decade for this bottling】, showcasing the exceptional quality of this Grand Cru from a renowned producer. This deep, tightly coiled red 布根地 (Burgundy) Pinot Noir unfurls with aromas of cassis, dark chocolate, grilled squab, and coniferous forest floor. It is medium to full-bodied, vibrant, and concentrated, with refined tannins, tangy acids, and a long, mineral finish, still a good handful of years away from its peak maturity.
🍴 This powerful and elegant Grand Cru is an exquisite match for rich, savory dishes such as roasted beef, venison, lamb carré, or grilled squab. Its complexity also complements earthy mushroom preparations and aged hard cheeses.
🥂 A truly serious wine for special occasions and fine dining experiences. Decanting is highly recommended to allow its intricate layers to express themselves. While enjoyable now, this wine has significant aging potential and will continue to evolve beautifully over the next decade or more.
