🏰 The 2020 vintage for Mas Bruguiere Pic Saint-Loup La Grenadière, from an organically and biodynamically certified vineyard, showcases a dense and balanced Languedoc wine. The slow maturity of this terroir allows for a beautiful balance between density, controlled tannin power, and intense, greedy fruitiness. This wine displays a garnet hue with purple reflections. The nose is dense and complex, expressing notes of ripe black fruits and licorice. On the palate, it is deep, with great freshness, and a nice balance between density, power of tannins, and intense, greedy fruitiness. Expect a fresh, floral, and fruity style with a long finish of sweet spices and ripe black fruits. Further notes include an intense nose of red and black fruit, black pepper, bay leaf, and meat, leading to a balanced fresh acidity, high smooth tannins, and a full body. It also offers spicy notes of leather and ripe fruit, with a long, supple taste. 【From old vines on the estate's historic terroir, certified organic and biodynamic.】
🍴 This versatile red wine pairs wonderfully with game, such as duck breast, as well as rich sauces and grilled meats. It's also an excellent match for duck parmentier, salt pork, roast beef, and new potatoes with garlic and thyme. Lamb is another classic pairing.
🥂 La Grenadière 2020 offers a very fine tasting experience today and has a long aging potential, best enjoyed between 3 and 15 years from vintage. Serve at around 16°C (60°F) after opening for at least an hour, or decant for 30 minutes, to allow its full expression.
