🏰 The 2010 Henri Rebourseau Gevrey Chambertin is a 【classic Gevrey-Chambertin】 from the excellent 2010 vintage, known for its structure, purity, and savory character. While specific tasting notes for this exact wine are not detailed, Gevrey-Chambertin wines are typically intensely colored, full-bodied, and firm, offering a complex bouquet of red and black fruits, often with notes of vanilla, spices, and earthy undertones. The 2010 vintage in 布根地 (Burgundy) was highly regarded for producing wines with great freshness, precision, and aging potential, suggesting a wine that is both expressive now and capable of further development.
🍴 This robust red 布根地 (Burgundy) wine is an ideal match for savory red meats, such as roast beef, lamb, or game. It also pairs wonderfully with traditional French dishes like beef bourguignon, coq au vin, and autumn dishes featuring turkey and chestnuts or wild boar. Strong, aged cheeses are also a fantastic accompaniment.
🥂 Perfect for a traditional French dinner, a gathering of Burgundy lovers, or a special meal where a wine with depth and character is desired. Serve at 16-18°C (60-64°F).
BACKGROUND
Domaine Henri Rebourseau is a well-regarded wine producer based in the village of Gevrey-Chambertin in the northern Côte de Nuits subregion of Burgundy's Côte d'Or heartland. The domaine produces principally red wines from the Pinot Noir variety. The estate began in the mid-19th century when Jean-Baptiste Rebourseau and his wife Louise-Victoire Philippon consolidated vineyard holdings. It was passed to his sons Émile and Henri, and in 1949 to Henri's son Pierre Rebourseau. In 1980, Pierre's grandson Jean de Surrel took over, shifting to organic and biodynamic viticulture. In 2018, Olivier and Martin Bouygues acquired a controlling share. Bénigne and Louis now manage the estate with Hervé Berland.
