🏰 The 2013 white 布根地 vintage, despite a challenging growing season with hail and reduced yields, delivered wines with 【energetic and powerful acidity, fine terroir definition, and wonderful clarity and transparency】. This Henri Germain Meursault 1er Cru Poruzots from such a vintage promises a vibrant expression. While specific notes for this wine are not available, Meursault wines typically offer 【rich, round, nutty flavors of almonds and hazelnuts, with notes of lemon zest, green/yellow apple, crème fraîche, mushrooms, and white stone minerality】. The 2013 vintage character suggests a wine with intensity and a mouth-watering, sweet impression.
🍴 This rich white 布根地 is a fantastic partner for grilled lobster, crawfish, king prawns in garlic butter sauce, or poultry and veal with white or creamy mushroom sauces. It also pairs beautifully with soft to semi-hard cheeses like Brie or Gruyere, and classic dishes like almond trout.
🥂 An excellent choice for a sophisticated meal, a celebration, or for a white 布根地 connoisseur appreciating a vintage known for its freshness and energy. It's a wine that will reward cellaring.
