🏰Domaine Ramonet's Chassagne Montrachet Morgeot Blanc 1er Cru 2022 is a 【rich and complex white 布根地 with significant aging potential】 from one of Burgundy's most revered producers. While specific vintage details are limited, the 2022 vintage in 布根地 was generally considered excellent for white wines, offering ripeness, freshness, and good balance. Expect aromas of white flowers, ripe stone fruit (peach, apricot), citrus, toasted nuts, butter, and a pronounced minerality. The palate is full-bodied, with a creamy texture, vibrant acidity, and a long, saline finish.
🍴 Superb with rich seafood dishes like lobster, scallops, or grilled turbot. Also pairs beautifully with roasted chicken, veal in cream sauce, or mature, firm cheeses like Comté.
🥂 An exceptional wine for a celebratory dinner, a special anniversary, or for serious 布根地 collectors looking to add a prestigious white to their cellar.
BACKGROUND
Domaine Ramonet is a prominent wine producer in the Burgundy appellations of Chassagne-Montrachet and Puligny-Montrachet, France. Ramonet owns more than 15 hectares (37 acres) of vineyards. The primary grape variety is Chardonnay, with a small amount of Pinot Noir also planted. The estate's most important wines are made from Chardonnay from the area's grand cru vineyards, and are highly collectible, often selling for high prices at auction. Domaine Ramonet makes several red wines from Pinot Noir as well. Domaine Ramonet is now run by Noël and Jean-Claude Ramonet, following the death of their father Pierre in the mid-1990s.
