FEATURES
🏰 Sine Qua Non's 2002 More Than A Number is a highly acclaimed Grenache-dominant blend (80% Grenache, 20% Syrah), a stunning wine of great intensity and multiple flavor dimensions. The 2002 vintage for California was exceptionally good, with sublime weather conditions. This wine presents a deep color with a spectacular bouquet of licorice, kirsch liqueur, black currants, earth, and smoky toast. On the palate, it's fat, plush, ripe, and sexy, bursting with blue-tinged fruit, blackberry, cherry, and licorice notes. It's drinking at a great place now, with notes of home-baked raspberry tart, cranberry, ripe red cherry, a hint of dark chocolate, and a long, smooth cigar tobacco finish. While some suggest drinking soon for the fruit, it still shows impressive balance and intensity.
🍴 This opulent Rhône-style blend pairs wonderfully with bold, flavorful dishes such as grilled lamb, beef stew, or slow-cooked pork with herbs and spices.
🥂 Ideal for a special occasion or a luxurious evening, this wine is a testament to Sine Qua Non's unique winemaking. Given its age, handle with care, as older corks can be fragile. Decanting is recommended to allow the wine to breathe and any sediment to settle. Serve at 16-18°C (60-64°F).
